In the years since it’s launch, Facebook has become a nimble Goliath in our tech savvy existence. It is an all encompassing, all fulfilling social existence in a digital sphere. To think it came from one simple insight that everybody already knew, but didn’t say; ‘that people like to see what their buddies are up to’, is staggering.

In a new campaign launched by Facebook that looks beyond the daily smut of stalking ex-girlfriends, the tech god’s have compiled a series of suave video’s to promote the potential that this website has to change lives. There is a scientist who tags others in photo’s to quickly identify rare fish, a man who re-connects with friends on Facebook to re-build his forgotten past, a rundown of online activity during the 2012 U.S election and several more besides. In typical style, each are well made and at the end of each, you will find yourself giving an involuntary fist pump for humanity.
While I’m sure I didn’t need to reinforce this point if you have watched the vids, but for those that are yet to, I can easily summaries the situation; Facebook are killing it.
