Cloud of light

Cloud is an interactive project created by artist Caitlind r.c. Brown for Nuit Blanche Calgary.

Using over 1000 working bulbs attached to pull stings and another 5000 blown bulbs, Brown has created a spectacular, one off result. Visitors to the installation could turn the working bulbs on and off via the pull strings, in order to create a “flickering aesthetic” and the perception of an “electrical cloud”. This sounds like artists rhetoric. Regardless, we think it looks sick.
